It's a little interesting in the beginning when they play the dialogue by the father to Superman. For a moment U wonder if they wanted to draw a parallel with the Christian context. Of sending a son as the saviour. It did get me thinking for a few minutes in the show.
Kevin Spacey....definitely a good actor....try watching Seven, Negotiator and K-Pax! Diverse roles and he carried them off very well....
Next up, Pirates of the Carribbean. Johnny Depp (who can forget Edwards Sciccorshand) and Orlando Bloom. I hope I dun sound gay wanting to watch movies and stating only the male actors!

Yes. There are parallels between Superman and Christ. If you listen to Jor-el's dialogue from Parts I and II, they certainly seem like God's conversation with Christ.
Furthermore, in Superman Returns, Superman and Lois' son seems to remind us of Da Vinci Code.
Kevin Spacey is definitely good lah. He came out of "retirement" for this. I think he went to London to pursue theatrical career for awhile. Like a sabbath from Hollywood.
