Cupboard

I got my very own absolute personal cupboard in my very own private room today! It's an authentic "cannot find anywhere else" cupboard purchased back in 1976! Fancy having a cupboard as old as myself :o)

Not complaining about getting a hand me down. It is in absolute condition. Anything that is kept by my mum will be in mint condition. So stop asking me why I don't seem to age as time passes!!! You have to ask my mum!!! Maybe she feeds me with something every night that she sprays on all these stuff...hmmm...I remember drinking some liquid and I knock out every night...

Anyhow, the room looks different now for sure! After trying to pack it for the past 4 years plus, it looks like a different kind of mess now! Woohoo! Have to make it better soon. Need to study soon aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh............

Parachute Band

It's been 10 years since Parachute Band started in 1996. Now in year 2007, they over to a new generation. The sound and style is pretty different, especially since the lead is a male now. I think I will get the new CD when it is out. Omega Levine...fuzzily funky male lead. You'll love him.

Best I Ever Had by Vertical Horizon

Break from packing the slums with music blasting away DEFINITELY. It's kind of a part of my life, but strangely I do not possess a MP3 player or load my phone with tons of music. But in my room, or car, that's it. I can do without TV, but music no way... (I think)

Loving live music allows me to accept cover versions, so perhaps not so true fan of originals like many others. There are songs that I love covers more than originals. Heard Vertical Horizon from my compilation and kind of like Best I Ever Had at the moment.

A search in youtube for the original MTV came up with something else! I would applaud this guy if I heard him live. He is good in my opinion.

Study

Going on course soon for 6 weeks. Time to get the brain cranking again. Started reading up on part 1 again yesterday. Dry and theoretical chapter 1 was really hard to go by. The fruits helped a little (but where is the fruits buffet I was promised? :op)

Can't even figure how I managed to score in part 1 a year ago, but I guess it was a pretty simple test. (As usual, there are tips and such.) So this is going to be 8 exams, even with oral and practical!! (When was the last time that happened to me?!)

Back to study...

Just came back from run. Feel good. Bathed and relaxed now. Shiok!

MIO

Seems like MIO is not explained properly when it is installed for subscribers. Have heard quite a number of complaints from some friends on it and something just seemed to not work well.

Helped the champion Debbie fixed it with loopback, problem solved.

Whatever it is, do not cut the telephone connection for the house. Multiple phone connections in the house can only be done with multiple MIO boxes or multiple subscribed lines is untrue.

IKEA Tampines

Went IKEA Tampines with Tingie. Nice Swedish meatballs and chicken wings! And better not trust Tingie when she says just order 6 chicken wings!

The place seems bigger than the one in Queensway, but feels like it just has more walking space. I do not seem to feel that there are more things to shop around. Quite a huge area allocated to DIY products too.

Product that I noted was DAIM sweets that was sold under the banner DIAM BAG. Was recommending it to Tingie. Wahahaha.....have a DIAM bag! :op

Just when I thought that was quite a fantastic gimmick, there came the 3-chest drawers. It was called ANEBODA. Really "NO COURAGE" ah!

Guess we will have to go to normal furniture shops to look for her wardrobes and other stuff. Sounds like one big project for her to do. Though I seriously doubt her estimates for the room dimensions. Hmm.....she might have to sleep outside the window.

Think it is worth checking out GIANT though. It is HUGE! (At least the company brand hints that anyway).

Broke

I broke the decision after years at a moment of impulse. Already did not feel good after a while. Disgusting. Only redemption was becoz I decided to do it for someone. So I guess it is worth. The decision should stay. This will be the last hopefully...or at least for the longest time.

I will not break it even on that day......if that day ever comes......

Feeling

The same kind of fear for the last few days. Not very good. It can't wait. This week will have to be it. It's not worth feeling the same way walking down that path all the time.

Today is supposed to be a happy day for lots of people with the receipt of bonus. I don't even monitor my monthly paycheck. So I guess it is no surprise that I won't know until people around me were talking about it. Not monitoring finance or being bothered about getting $$$ has nothing to do with whether a person have too much money or not really. I would be happy if the reason was so simplistic. Mindset can be changed with some effort. Finance is archived and viewed differently in me. (Probably for many other things too.)

Level of significance is not proportional to the ease of exploitation.

Life

Resign to it. Give up on it. Enjoy it to the fullest. Make the best of it. What comes...comes.

Same gift, different experience.

Some have it and want to end it. Some are ending it and want to prolong it. If only they could exchange? Irony.......irony........and it is not just a Swatch series.....

What do you want me to say to you? You already chose your own path and yet you are unhappy about it. What about those that did not get to choose? And I'm expected to say stuff that people expect me to say. Whatever happen to "say your mind"?

Expectations

Suddenly thought about it and stuck in those thoughts for a while. Need to ask some hard questions to find out more. It seems my mental expectations were pretty high and yet practically I did not feel very disturbed knowing such information.

Maybe that is why some people choose not to know everything. The lesser you know, the lesser the expectations. However, innocence might not equate bliss. It might always be a time bomb.

But what happens when all is known? Do things stay the same? Perceptions change with the amount of information available. How important is perception if it is ever-changing then?

The beauty of life is the journey. The lack of it makes even the bad parts worth.

Atom gave me a modular power supply. It was that damn good. So my system is up again and I can blog. Managed to logon to Club 7 for a brief while too. I guess I am not that easily wiped off from the team yet.

Electrician coming for more major work on the power supply and also a possible TV point in my room. After more than four years of not watching TV, I wonder if I will get used to start. But well, it is definitely a good time to start packing everything proper and even sorting out my HDD. I have been living in a mess for too many years.

Really need to stop procrastinating about everything.

I must and I will want to make a decision on Saturday!!!
